Woodland Caribou Resort is open year round offering vacationers and work groups the opportunity to experience the great Chilcotin in all it's seasons. Fishing for Kokanee and Rainbow trout from May until November then Ice fishing from December until April. WCR is on the cusp of 3 regions, 5-12, 5-13 and 5-5 allowing for more opportunity for the hunter. The birder will find a massive amount of bird species in this area at any given time. And the wildlife enthusiast will find many species of animals to photograph from the Swans and Pelicans to the Woodland Caribou on the Lake. Hiking, Quading, Horse trails turn to Cross-country ski and snowmobile routes. The Lake goes from water sports and swimming to ice fishing and skating. Fresh air, big skies and lots of quiet fishing spots make this area worth returning to again and again!
