About Moresby Camp / Sandspit

Moresby Camp is located approximately 28 miles/45 kms southwest of Sandspit. There are 6 RV/Tenting sites, pit toilets, fire pits and picnic tables.

Drinking water is not available, however, visitors can obtain water in the community of Sandspit.

A Sani-Station is located at 501 RV Park in Sandspit.

Other amenities available in Sandspit include a grocery and liquor store, post office, gas station, vehicle rentals, showers, restaurants and various charter operations.

Please be advised that all public camping sites on Moresby Island are accessible only by logging roads. Please check at the Sandspit Visitor Info Centre located at the Sandspit Airport for up to date road and hauling conditions.
