Located on forty acres on the banks of Fitzsimmons Creek, Riverside Resort is surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains and close to all the action and excitment that Whistler has to offer.

Featuring fully equipped cozy log cabins, full & partial RV sites, private walk-in tent camping, serviced Multi-Use sites plus unqiue and natural Yurts, Riverside Resort offers a variety of accomodations for all seasons and budgets, and the experience of staying close to nature.

Full Service RV Sites

Our Full Service RV Sites are open all year, and sites are equipped with electricity, water, and sewer plus free WiFi, and are complemented by full facility Comfort Stations with bathrooms, showers, and heated floors to provide an outstanding summer or winter camping experience. With both pull-through and back-in sites available in a variety of sizes, picnic tables and fire pits at each site, and 50Amp service and cablevision available, whatever your needs and preferences are - we have a site for you.

Partial Service RV Sites

Our Partial Service RV Sites are paved and equipped with electricity and water, plus picnic tables and fire-pits at each site. The sites are complemented by full facility comfort station with bathrooms, showers, and even heated floors! Please note that the maximum possible vehicle size for our Partial Service RV Sites is approximately 30 feet.

Multi-Use Camping Sites

Multi-Use Camping Sites are great for tenting as well as camper vans, truck-campers, and smaller RV units. The gravel-based sites offer vehicle access, are serviced with power and water, and include picnic tables and fire-pits. A full facility comfort station featuring bathrooms, showers, and heated floors is provided for your convenience. Please note that the maximum possible vehicle size for our Multi-Use Camping Sites is approximately 26 feet. Also note that the sites are located in an area with steep embankments and drops, and small children may require supervision.

Walk-in Tent Sites

Our Walk-In Tent Sites are located beside Fitzsimmons Creek, and include picnic tables and fire-pits at each site. The tenting area is softly lit at night and features easily accessible water taps and a full facility comfort station with bathrooms, showers, and dishwashing station for your convenience. Please note all sites are walk-in only, with parking available a short distance away.

Cozy Log Cabins

Our cozy Log Cabins are perfect for the family holiday, vacation with friends, or a romantic getaway. The full log construction using hand-hewn western cedar gives a distinct warmth, charm, and character you won’t find in other Whistler accommodations. Peaceful and private, each Cabin features a bedroom with queen bed, living and dining area with extra large couch and flat-screen TV, compact kitchen, full bathroom, and two twin beds upstairs in the loft. Complete with all kitchen equipment and utensils, comfy duvets, and fresh linens and towels.

Yurts

Our yurts are sturdy and secure structures with rigid walls and roofs and solid floors, yet still have the feel of tenting and being a part of the natural environment. They are insulated and heated, have electricity and all the basic furnishings required to complete your stay - all you need is your sleeping bag! Fresh water is available nearby and the yurts are complemented by a complete comfort station with bathrooms and hot showers.

Our yurts are equipped with basic furnishings including beds and mattresses for up to five people; however, please note that no linens, towels, pillows, housekeeping services or kitchen facilities are provided, and no cooking is permitted inside the yurts.

Riverside Greens

Our unique putting course features 18 real bent-grass greens and is fun and challenging for all ages and abilities. Open mid-May through September each year. Additional fee required.

Beach Volleyball

We have a full size sand volleyball court built to professional standards for casual play or competitive matches.

Outdoor Area & Games

Our property features expansive lawns great for picnics, group gatherings, relaxation and recreation, and we have bocce ball, horseshoes, soccer balls, and other equipment available for our guests.

Hiking, Biking & Cross-Country Skiing

The Valley Trail, Whistler’s 40km trail network connecting valley, runs directly through Riverside Resort - just walk out your door and enjoy a scenic walk or bike to Green Lake, Whistler Village, or any number of spectacular locations throughout Whistler. We are also located adjacent to Lost Lake Park, offering guests immediate access to over 30km of fantastic trails for hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing, with everything from challenging singletrack to plush gravel roads in summer, and immaculate grooming for classic or skate skiing in winter. Ask our staff for free maps available in our main office!

Directions

Travelling from the south (Vancouver area)

Take Highway #1 westbound or Highway #99 northbound to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver then travel northbound on scenic and well-maintained Highway #99 (the Sea to Sky Highway) for 110 kms (70 miles) to Whistler Village. Continue northbound past Whistler Village for 1.5 kms (1 mile) on Highway 99, then follow the signs to Riverside Resort by turning right at Spruce Grove Way, then immediately left at Mons Road where you will find the entrance to Riverside Resort a short distance down the road on the right hand side.

From the north (Kamloops, Cache Creek, Lillooet)

Take Highway #97 southbound, or Highway #1 westbound, to the junction of Highway #99 (the Duffy Lake Road) just north of Cache Creek. Travel southbound through Lillooet then continue southbound for 130 kms (80 miles) on Highway #99 through Pemberton to Whistler. As you enter Whistler, proceed past the turnoff for the Nicklaus North Golf Course on the left, then follow the signs to Riverside Resort by turning left at Spruce Grove Way, then immediately left at Mons Road where you will find the entrance to Riverside Resort a short distance down the road on the right hand side.
